European Real Estate Society Conference, 7-10 June 2006, Weimar (DE)

The 13th annual European Real Estate Society (ERES) Annual conference is to be held on June 7-10 2006 in Weimar, Germany. The conference provides a forum for the exchange of research in a wide range of real estate related areas. The topics of the conference cover all areas of real estate, urban economics and urban studies.

The conference will be hosted by the Bauhaus University Weimar in cooperation with the German Society of Property Researchers. Responsible Coordinator and Conference Chair is Prof. Dr. Ramon Sotelo, Juniorprofessor for Real Estate Economics at Bauhaus University Weimar; President of the ERES is Paola Lunghini, Editor-in-Chief of Italian trade journal "Economia Immobiliare".

The spectrum of themes in the approx. 60 workshops, 10 panels and 2 symposiums is wide with subjects like: city planning- and development, residential development, Public Private Partnership, analysis of international real estate and investment markets, instruments to measure performance and risk, worldwide valuation standards, investment vehicles, REITs, private equity, portfolio management, corporate real estate, real estate economy education.
Approx. 400 economists and professional from Europe, but also from Asia and oversees, present their research results and discuss various methods and experiences.
