Europe Real Estate organizes REITs panel at Provada (NL)

On Tuesday June 12, 11:00-12:30 hours (conference room N), Europe Real Estate organizes a panel discussion on the actual situation of REIT regimes in Europe. REITs are the strongest growing investment vehicles for European real estate. After the Netherlands, France and Belgium, REIT regimes are introduced in Italy, Germany and the UK as well.

The panelists all have an impressive track record and are experts in their field. The panel will be moderated by Ronald Wijs, tax lawyer and member of the Tax practice group of Loyens & Loeff. Panelists are Arnaud du Pont, general counsel of VastNed Group, Christopher Luck, partner in the Corporate Real Estate Group Nabarro, Nick van Ommen, CEO of EPRA and Brett Ward, Head of the European real estate securities business of AMP Capital.

Ronald Wijs
Ronald J.B. Wijs, tax lawyer, is a member of the Tax practice group. He has broad experience in European cross-border corporate tax planning, in particular involving the Benelux countries, France, Germany and Switzerland. He focuses on structuring of European private equity funds and investments for both European and American clients. He has broad experience in the field of structuring and advising European property investment funds, in the private as well as the listed sector (REITs). He has worked at the Geneva office and headed the Paris office. Ronald is a frequent speaker at seminars. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Tax Transparency Committee of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA). He has written various articles on topics related to private equity and property investment funds.
