Europa Capital has completed a comprehensive refurbishment of Warsaw’s Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel, which has now reopened as a five star Radisson Collection branded hotel, reserved for Radisson Hotel Group’s most outstanding properties and the first in Poland. The hotel features 311 rooms and suites, which have been significantly upgraded, in addition to a modern lobby, lounge restaurant and bar, and open plan communal areas including a fine dining restaurant. The hotel also offers over 590m² of meetings and events facilities, with the capacity to host more than 400 delegates.

Located within Warsaw’s city centre and near the city’s financial district, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw is ideally situated for business travellers. For leisure visitors, there is also a number of historical and cultural attractions nearby. The hotel benefits from excellent transport links with the Warsaw Chopin Airport only 25 minutes away and the newly renovated Central Railway Station approximately 1 kilometre away, providing convenient access to other Polish cities as well as major business hubs such as Berlin, Paris, London and Rome.

Europa Capital partnered with WX Management Services on the project, drawing on the firm’s localised and sector-specific asset management skills. Europa Capital and WX Management Services previously worked together to refurbish the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, Warsaw which successfully completed in 2010.

James Pennington, Director at Europa Capital, commented: “This major refurbishment programme has been delivered to business plan and timeline and we are delighted with the result. The newly refurbished Radisson Collection Warsaw is a modern, fit-for-purpose hotel that will meet the demand for premium accommodation from the city’s growing number of business travellers and tourists.”

Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Area Senior Vice President, Central & Southern Europe, said: “Warsaw represents a dynamic business city – it is a vibrant and diversifying place and we are extremely proud of our Polish debut for the Radisson Collection. Within a very short time, we have accomplished a massive transformation of the hotel, in which guest rooms and public spaces were completely redesigned. The refurbishment and rebranding represent a key step in the development of the property in line with the Radisson Hotel Group brand strategy. We look forward to welcoming business and leisure guests from around the world.”
