Euro-zone1 annual inflation2 is expected to be 1.7 % in June 2002, down from 2.0% in May 2002, according to a flash estimate issued today by Eurostat - the Statistical Office of the European Communities in Luxembourg. This is the lowest rate since December 1999 when euro-zone annual inflation also was 1.7%.
