EPRA Board expansion to manage greater role (EU)

EPRA has introduced a program to overhaul its governance structure in line with its newly revamped by-laws. EPRA's Board of Directors has been expanded to 35 board members, enabling greater sector representation. This will also facilitate better oversight and industry contribution as EPRA widens its role to face the challenges of greater regulation and investor outreach activity.

Chaired by Guillaume Poitrinal of Unibail-Rodamco, the Executive Board remains 15-strong; a team which is drawn from nine of the 10 largest European property companies. To further strengthen the Executive Board's cohesion and commitment, Gerard Groener of Corio and Ian Coull of SEGRO have been appointed to the new positions of Vice-Chairman Audit and Vice-Chairman Human Resources respectively.

"In these times of economic uncertainty and political volatility, we need all of the players in public real estate to be united. EPRA and its management team will continue to serve this ambition in a professional and dedicated manner," says Guillaume Poitrinal.
