Enlarged and refurbished Nisa Liberec shopping center reopens today (CZ)

ING Real Estate announced today that Nisa Liberec, one of the most successful shopping centers in the Czech Republic, has officially reopened after three years of extensive redevelopment work.

The shopping center has been completely refurbished, doubling in size to 50,000 m². Considerable effort has been put into the look and feel of Nisa Liberec. Architects from Atelier Ph5 and Atelier 8000 designed the new center to reflect key modern architectural features while taking inspiration from the commercial architecture of the 1920s and 1930s.

The number of retail units at the Nisa Liberec shopping center has been increased from 70 to over 160 and the extended car park now offers 1,800 parking spaces. The enlarged shopping center has attracted numerous new retailers, and international brands consider Nisa Liberec as one the best opportunities to expand into the Czech market. The retail offer includes major international brands such as HyperAlbert, Marks & Spencer, New Yorker, Datart, C&A, Hervis Sport, Lindex, Reserved, Intersport, Bata, and Humanic. A new multiplex cinema with eight theaters and 1,200 seats will contribute to transforming the shopping center into a major leisure destination.
