Eniservizi extends its lease with Commerz Real by another six years at the Torre Alfa in Milan (IT)

Commerz Real can count on Eniservizi, its master tenant at the "Torre Alfa" office property, to remain in the building for another six years. The company has been in the building since 2007, and occupies around 12,300 m² or nearly 60% of the floor area. The 'Torre Alfa' high-rise was completed in 2003, and acquired by Commerz Real for the portfolio of its hausInvest open-ended real estate fund in 2007.

"The lease renewal contract effective through the end of 2018 shows that high-end office schemes in sound locations continue to be in demand even in strained economic environments," said Carl-Christian Siegel, responsible at Commerz Real for the real estate business in southern Europe. "We are pleased to report that Eniservizi appreciates the specific qualities of this property and its location."

Eniservizi is part of the integrated energy group Eni that is active in the areas of research and development, production, transportation, refining, and the sales of petroleum and natural gas products. The group is active in 85 different countries and has a total workforce of more than 79,000. Eniservizi, its subsidiary, manages the group's branch offices outside Italy.

The ten-story building providing around 21,000 m² of office space, 'Torre Alfa' is located in San Donato Milanese, a south-eastern-submarket of Milan. The area represents the third-largest office market in the northern Italian metropolis.
