In the fourth quarter of the year, Energomontaz-Poludnie is to begin a residential project in Katowice. The first stage of the project involves the construction of 188 apartments (22 four-story buildings with a combined living area of 14,000 m²), with 243 flats to be developed later. The Osiedle Ksiazeca estate will be situated on the corner of ul. Ksiazeca and Piotrowicka in the Ligota district of the city. Currently, the firm is awaiting a building permit, while carrying out work on the design of the estate and preparing the site.

The completion of the first stage is expected to take place around the first or second quarter of 2009, with the next phase to follow in 2009 and 2010. Eventually, the estate will contain 65,000 m² of living space. The investor for this project is CK Modus, a subsidiary of Energomontaz.
