ECE Türkiye acquires the management of two new shopping centers (DE/TR)

ECE Türkiye, a subsidiary of Germany-based ECE, has taken over the management of two new CarrefourSA shopping centers: on March 1, 2011 the CarrefourSA Bahcelievler in Istanbul became part of ECE Türkiye's center portfolio and was followed by CarrefourSA Karsiyaka in Izmir on April 1, 2011. ECE now manages a total of eight shopping centers in Turkey.

CarrefourSA Bahcelievler is conveniently located at the E5 motorway, one of Istanbul's two arterial roads. The catchment area of the shopping center, which also houses approx. 800 parking spaces, comprises a population of around 2.1 million. With a leasable area of 14,000 m², the center provides around 50 specialist stores, including a hypermarket, a consumer electronics specialist as well as 14 restaurants and cafés. Furthermore, the shopping center houses a food court for 800 people and a kids play area.

The other center now under ECE Türkiye's management is the CarrefourSA Karsiyaka in Izmir. Situated in the city's dynamic surroundings, the center has a catchment area of approximately 1.6 million people. With a leasable area of 34,500 m², the shopping center provides around 70 specialist stores, a DIY, a hypermarket, an electronics specialist as well as 14 restaurants and cafés.
