ECE Fund sells 25% of Denmark’s second largest shopping center (DE/DK)

The ECE European Prime Shopping Centre Fund sold 25% of Rosengårdcentret (Odense) to ATP Real Estate. ATP is one of the biggest European pension funds with headquarters in Hilleroed, Denmark. Since the ECE Fund acquired Rosengårdcentret in spring 2013, ATP Real Estate had already been holding an indirect 6% stake as a partner in the ECE Fund.

This acquisition was not only the largest single property transaction in the history of Denmark but also the largest transaction of the ECE Fund to date. ECE Projektmanagement, which took over the management company of the shopping center, will continue to provide the property management services.

With this investment, ATP Real Estate demonstrates its commitment to the Danish shopping center market. The company is continuously searching for new investment opportunities in stable shopping centers in the right locations in Denmark.
