ECE and the Turkish Akasya Group will jointly realize Akasya Park Ümraniye. The construction of the project in the Ümraniye district is scheduled to start in 2013.
The investment volume of the shopping and entertainment projects which will also comprise apartments and office space amounts to around €200 million. Together with the directly adjacent Carrefour SA Ümraniye shopping center more than 240 shops will be created on a total leasable area of around 100,000 m² and will thus form one of Istanbul’s largest retail areas. In the catchment area live approx. three million people, who can easily reach the center by car via Istanbul’s arterial roads TEM and E5 and with public transport. A total of 3,000 parking spaces will be available to the customers.
ECE has been entrusted with the concept design, leasing as well as the long-term center management of the shopping center. “We are pleased to be able to realize another attractive shopping center in Istanbul with our project partner and to thus continue our expansion on the growing market Turkey.
