EC Harris, the International Built Asset Consultancy, has appointed Markus Reppenhagen as a Partner in its German Lenders and Investors team. Based in Munich, Markus will support EC Harris' drive to provide clients with alternative options for portfolio investment and asset improvement strategies in Germany.
Markus joins EC Harris with over 10 years of experience in consultancy and principal investments. Markus was previously the managing director of an investment management boutique for commercial real estate investments in Germany. His experience spans real estate transactions, asset and value management, Private Finance Initiatives and Public Private Partnerships.
John Atkins, EC Harris Country Leader Germany said: "With Markus on board we will be able to provide our clients with best-practice solutions regarding asset improvement and asset investment strategies. His network will help us to further strengthen our market position in Germany."
EC Harris offers its clients an asset review which includes the financial models that show the direct internal rate of return (IRR) and cash-flow impact of different options to reposition real estate assets. EC Harris Germany is currently planning a major expansion in Germany following five years of continual growth since John Atkins assumed leadership in 2006. The growth has been driven by Lenders and Investors clients such as Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley. JP Morgan, Evans Randall, Union Investment and Deka.
