EC Harris appoints asset investment specialist in Germany (DE)

EC Harris, the International Built Asset Consultancy, has appointed Markus Reppenhagen as a Partner in its German Lenders and Investors team. Based in Munich, Markus will support EC Harris' drive to provide clients with alternative options for portfolio investment and asset improvement strategies in Germany.

Markus joins EC Harris with over 10 years of experience in consultancy and principal investments. Markus was previously the managing director of an investment management boutique for commercial real estate investments in Germany. His experience spans real estate transactions, asset and value management, Private Finance Initiatives and Public Private Partnerships.

EC Harris offers its clients an asset review which includes the financial models that show the direct internal rate of return (IRR) and cash-flow impact of different options to reposition real estate assets. This provides additional insight to investors about how to improve performance targets as well as reduce risk in their portfolios.

In Germany, EC Harris has been established since 1993 and has its headquarters in Dusseldorf and Project offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich. EC Harris Germany is currently planning a major expansion in Germany following five years of continual growth since John Atkins assumed leadership in 2006. The growth has been driven by Lenders and Investors clients such as Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley. JP Morgan, Evans Randall, Union Investment and Deka.
