Prime waterfront site in Dublin goes on the market for €25m (IE)

Savills, acting on behalf of joint receivers Michael McAteer and Paul McCann, has announced the sale of a "Project Pier" in Dublin. The property was put on the market in excess of €25m. It extends to approximately 6.61 acres and is located between Howth Road (R105) and Claremont Strand, benefiting from panoramic sea views across the Dublin coastline. The asset holds two substantial planning permissions for the construction of residential units for 229 or 178 apartments.

This site is located in a close proximity to Howth Train Station, offering regular DART services to and from the City. In addition, there are numerous Dublin Bus routes serving the property. Accessibility is further enhanced with the M1, M50 and Dublin Airport all located within a 15-minute drive.

John Swarbrigg of Savills comments: “As agents, we can sometimes be a little loose when referring to a particular property as ‘prime’; however, in this instance, it’s certainly not the case. This site really does represent a trophy opportunity and offers a purchaser a platform to deliver something truly special in what is one of Dublin’s more affluent suburban addresses.”
