Dubai Industrial City offers over 275,000 ft² of office space for lease (UAE)

Following the successful leasing of one office building, Dubai Industrial City (DI) has announced plans to lease out three more buildings. The four buildings together will offer a total of 275,000 ft² of leasable space.

Rashed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Industrial City, a member of Tatweer, confirmed that DI has fully leased its first office building. "We have now leased the remaining two floors of the first office building that offers a total of more than 40,000 ft² of office space at our headquarters and we expect to lease more office space when the remaining three office buildings are completed this month," he said.

Rashed added that with the opening of three more office buildings at Dubai Industrial City, more than 275,000 ft² of office space will be put into the market. "Each building comprises four floors and each floor offers around 21,000 ft² of office space that can be configured for each client's requirements and we expect the market to lease them within a short time considering that they offer an ideal working environment with car parks, internet and all office facilities and connectivity set up," Rashed said.

The leasing of the entire first building highlights the demand DI is generating in the market, fuelled by the fact that all four buildings are ideally located adjacent to new developments being built across Dubai, including Dubai World Central, Techno Park and close to the Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone.

The area surrounding the four buildings is currently being landscaped to feature lush greenery, walk ways and a lake. The buildings have basement car parking as well as a large outdoor parking area for the use of tenants.

Located on Emirates Road, Dubai Industrial City is close to major highways such as Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Ring Road, and covers an area of 560 million ft². It is a dedicated industrial destination comprising six industrial clusters: food and beverage, base metal, mineral products, chemicals, transport equipment & parts and machinery & mechanical equipment.

Dubai Industrial City incorporates facilities for logistics, warehousing and labour accommodation, apart from commercial, residential and entertainment zones that will position it as an integrated one-stop industrial solution, providing tenants with a critical competitive advantage in the areas of human resources, logistics and business operations.
