DTZ Moscow appoints 7 leading agency stars (RU)

International property adviser DTZ has significantly strengthened its business in Moscow with the appointment of seven leading agency advisers including Ferit Yildrim and David O'Hara. In a major coup five consultants are moving to DTZ from Cushman & Wakefield to form a new Retail Department.

DTZ Moscow has for some time held an enviable place in the market but there has always been the intent to develop the business and take opportunities as they present themselves. Retail is a developing segment of the Moscow market and one in which DTZ has not been represented. This expansion of existing capability provides a significant increase in capability and promises to deliver an ever larger slice of market share. DTZ Moscow remains part of the Central and Eastern Europe group and with this addition DTZ will be better able to service existing clients and provide an enhanced service for new clients and those that are moving to Central and Eastern Europe for the first time.

Ferit Yildrim, previously Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield and Member of the Board of the SNR management (property management company in Moscow), has been appointed as Country Head of DTZ's Moscow office. David O'Hara is General Director who joins DTZ from key client AIG Lincoln. Ferit and David are two of the most highly respected property advisers in Russia with over 10 years experience between them. Ferit Yildrim adds: "These are exiting times for the Moscow market and I am looking forward to working with the team to enhance and develop its strong office in both Moscow and Central & Eastern Europe."

Johnny Dunford, Regional Business Manager for DTZ in Central & Eastern Europe comments: "Moscow is one of the key markets in Europe and we have made no secret of our aim to significantly grow DTZ's presence in the Russian capital by attracting the 'best in class' in all skill areas. Scale and resource is crucial in the competitive environment in which we operate. By enhancing our office capability and establishing a retail division we are in an even stronger position to meet clients' needs and to grow substantially in the future."
