DTZ, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL), announces that it has signed an agreement with Foncière des Régions and Prédica for the commercialization of the office buildings in the Euromed Center.
Euromed Center is a mixed-use project of approximately 70,000 m² with 47,800 m² of offices including four HQE and BBC buildings, shops, a four-star hotel with 210 rooms and a 14-screen multiplex cinema.
The first phase of the works will be launched in June 2012 on the first of the four office buildings, which will be delivered in January 2015.
The buildings will be located in a first class urban environment: the project includes 5,000 m² of green space and a large, impressive square that will add a certain charm to the working conditions of Euroméditerranée's future employees.
Euromed Center falls within the city of Marseille's projects in the framework of its 2013 European Capital of Culture status, which specifically include major developments like the redevelopment of the port zone, which is next to the CMA/CGM tower, the creation of the Terrasses du Port, a huge commercial center that will be developed by the docks and a large number of construction sites that will help the city offer the very best to its future residents and visitors.
