DoubleTree by Hilton expands its portfolio in the Netherlands (NL)

DoubleTree by Hilton announces the opening of its latest hotel in Amsterdam – DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam – NDSM Wharf located on the banks of IJ.
The new contemporary hotel offers 88 guest rooms, more than half of which offer water views across Amsterdam's picturesque canals. It is located in the NDSM region, one of Amsterdam's prime creative districts, marrying historic and contemporary architecture. There is also a 24-hour gym and the Brooklyn restaurant.
John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said, "Amsterdam is a diverse business and cultural hub, and home to 170 nationalities. We are delighted to warmly greet guests from around the world at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam - NDSM Wharf, the newest addition to the brand's portfolio of more than 80 hotels trading or under development across Europe and more than 410 open in 35 countries around the world."
The hotel is easily reachable by car, train or boat and offers convenient access to Schiphol Airport Amsterdam for international travelers. It is located next to NDSM, which was once home to the largest shipbuilding company in the world. The former shipping wharf area is now a creative base for a number of arists, exhibitions, festivals, creative enterprises and businesses.
