Delta Lloyd Vastgoed sells large residential portfolio (NL)

Delta Lloyd Vastgoed has sold a residential portfolio of more than 500 dwellings to a private investor. The portfolio includes 85 single-family dwellings and 422 multi-family dwellings in Bergen op Zoom, Geldrop, Haarlem and Voorschoten.
Capital Value advised Delta Lloyd Vastgoed on the sale. Loyens & Loeff provided legal expertise.
Kees Korver, senior portfolio manager at Delta Lloyd Vastgoed: “The sale fits our strategy to rejuvenate the portfolio over the coming years."
This transaction confirms that Dutch private investors are still active on the residential market, despite the growing competition from international investors. Kees van Harten, Managing Director Capital Value: “Research from Capital Value shows that private investors invested for over €750 million in rental homes in 2014. We expect this group to remain active in 2015 as well. Capital Value will publish the latest research results in February this year.
