Deka Immobilien GmbH has acquired an office building in the European Quarter of the Belgian capital city from KBC Insurance. The asset transferred in this deal worth around €30 mln will be included in the portfolio of WestInvest ImmoValue, an open-ended mutual property fund which is exclusively geared to institutional investors.
The eleven-story building in Rue Nerviens was constructed in 1972 and comprehensively refurbished in 2001. Nine tenants currently use the available floor space of around 8,300 m². The property also includes 125 parking spaces. McDermott Will & Emery Belgium is the main tenant in the building.
