Deka Immobilien acquires office building in Warsaw (DE/PL)

Deka Immobilien GmbH has acquired the office property Mokotowska Square in Warsaw. The building has been placed in the open-ended real estate mutual fund ImmoValue West, which is aimed exclusively at institutional investors. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed. The seller is real estate developer Yareal International.

This modern class-A building in downtown Warsaw was rebuilt in the past two years. In total it offers approximately 10,200 m² of rental space, spread over eight floors which are currently used by 12 tenants as retail and office space.

Among the anchor tenants are the international law firm Beiten Burkhardt, real estate consultancy firm Knight Frank, and the Polish energy provider Energia Jàdrowa PGE.

The entire ground floor retail space is leased to renowned brands such as Escada and MarcCain.
