DEGI assigns management of its German properties to HOCHTIEF and EPM Assetis (DE)

DEGI Deutsche Gesellschaft für Immobilienfonds mbH has re-assigned its service orders for property management in Germany itself. HOCHTIEF Property Management GmbH and EPM Assetis GmbH, a company of the Bilfinger Berger Group, showed up well in the tendering procedure conducted by DEGI this spring, and as from the second half of this year will be handling the German properties in the portfolios managed by DEGI.

"The crucial factor in our choice of provider, besides conditions geared to the ongoing market level, was a high quality of service for our tenants, assured not least by property managers actually on the spot," says Bärbel Schomberg, Speaker of DEGI's Management Board.

EPM Assetis will be handling property management in North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, while HOCHTIEF has been assigned responsibility for the buildings in the rest of Germany, as well as in the transitional period managing the German portfolio of 37 properties sold in May from the GRUNDWERT-FONDS. DEGI's previous property manager, Allianz Immobilien GmbH, is discontinuing its property management operations for third parties.
