Czech BTS for DSV Road (CZ)

Panattoni Europe, one of the biggest industrial space developers in Europe, has signed a development contract for the delivery of a build-to-suit project at Panattoni Park Prague-Airport.

Panattoni will deliver a 11,500-m² building, within which DSV Road, a global logistics services provider, has leased 6,500 m² of industrial space. Building 4a will also offer space for potential DSV expansion or speculative space of approx. 5,000 m².

Panattoni Europe is proud to announce the further expansion of its flagship investment Panattoni Park Prague Airport in the Czech Republic. DSV Road , will occupy space at the fifth building in the park, which construction starts in May 2011. The facility will serve as a distribution center for the Czech Republic. The agreement is a BTS transaction. Currently the Panattoni Park Prague-Airport consists of four buildings totaling 55,000 m² of warehouse space. The potential development of the park comprises eight buildings encompassing altogether 160,000 m².

"As part of our strategic planning process, senior management evaluated the requirements necessary to achieve the company's long-term growth objectives," said Petr Chocholatý, Managing Director DSV Road a.s.

Jaroslav Kaizr, Head of the Czech and Slovak industrial letting team at Cushman & Wakefield comments: "DSV was looking for a flexible and efficient solution, which would support its growing activities in Western Prague and Panattoni was able to provide such a tailor-made facility within the park."

Panattoni Park Prague Airport, developer's flagship in the Czech Republic, directly neighboring the Prague Ruzyne International Airport, is being called a 'multimodal hub', thanks to the great location the park is accessible from roads (R6, R7 and R1 motorways), air (Prague Ruzyně Airport) and railway (potential railway siding).

The park lies only 20 km away from the center of Prague and is excellently connected with the city center by public transport. The major tenants of the park are: logistics services giant - Ceva Logistics, Czech logistics operator – AWT Čechofracht, Domo Service, Time Out, Iron Mountain and Stokvis Promi. Panattoni Park Prague-Airport's first phase is 100% leased.
