Cromwell Property Group has opened Janki shopping centre in Warsaw, Poland, following the completion of a major €65m expansion and refurbishment. In the first five days since opening, the centre, which has been expanded by 21,000m² to total 94,000m² of lettable space, was visited by approximately 110,000 people. As well as the expansion, the centre has been repositioned to include a more diversified mix of retail and leisure tenants, significantly broadening the customer offer.
The main occupiers at Janki Centre include major brands like Leroy Merlin, Media Markt, Cinema City and the Auchan hypermarket, which are complemented by 170 medium-sized stores including Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, C&A, Go Sport, H&M, KappAhl, Kazar, New Yorker, Reserved, Rossmann and Sephora. Among the additions is a new food and beverage area called Restaurama – with 20 establishments, including restaurants serving dishes from around the world. There is also a free car park with more than 3,000 underground and above-ground parking spaces, which include 40 electric charging points.
