The CORESTATE group is extending its offer and service profile in the residential property segment by a 14.18% participation and an option in the same amount in the capital stock of Alta Fides AG.
"As a trendsetter and market leader in the future market Campus Real Estate and as a developer and trader of exclusive residential properties, Alta Fides complements our current business lines and participations optimally", Ralph Winter, the CORESTATE chief substantiates the commitment in the company. Alta Fides, seated in Stuttgart, is listed in the Prime Standard at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Moreover, synergies turn out in the residential property sales and distribution sectors with the Dr. Ochel group, a company specialized in exit strategies in the residential sector with seat in Bochum, in which CORESTATE participates as well.
The "CAMPUS Real Estate" division founded in the third quarter of 2007 by Alta Fides focuses on the development of lifestyle student apartments. With regards to furnishings and conception they shall represent an alternative to the usual accommodations on offer for students. The idea behind the Campus concept is to offer students an own, partly furnished apartment with good furnishings, without the students having to abstain from their student life within the group, e.g. in jointly used lounges. German university towns provide hardly a sufficient offer in this segment: "Alta Fides is jumping exactly into this market gap and will therefore strongly expand in this business line," Winter says. Two objects in Erlangen and Leipzig are already under construction; further objects in Heidelberg and Karlsruhe are in the planning stage. Alta Fides intends to invest altogether €750 million in Campus projects.
