CoreNet Global reveals top keynote speakers for Berlin Summit Sept. 21-23 (DE)

CoreNet Global has unveiled the line-up of keynote speakers for their seventh annual European Summit (Berlin, 21-23 September), confirming the attendance of an astronaut and teacher, a best selling global business strategist, and the team behind Google's Munich workplace environment.

The two day annual event will this year focus on human productivity and how it can be increased in the work environment, The Summit will take the theme "The Productivity Puzzle: Redefining the Work Environment" and will explore how the workplace environment relates to increasing human productivity. The program will look at how cultural diversity, generational differences, and an increasingly remote global workforce have forced companies to rethink the work environment.

Bestselling author and business strategist Rowan Gibson will look at the impact of the workplace on corporate culture and performance, and how office design can be used as a strategic tool and a catalyst for cultural change. The session will explore how a workplace can communicate brand values, foster innovation and collaboration, and speed up the flow of work, ideas and decision making.

Ulrich Walter, science astronaut and research specialist for the German D-2 mission, travelled in space for 10 days on board the Space Shuttle Columbia and the European Space Station. He is now a professor at the Institute of Astronautics at Munich University. Walter will present his insight into teamwork and self motivation gained from his career.

The third general session will be presented by Jason Harper of Google Germany and Andrew Laing of DEGW.

Educational sessions will explore a number of workplace and productivity related areas, including productivity in the work environment, location strategies and resource optimisation, and hot topics in corporate real estate such as sustainability and multiple generations at work.
