CoreNet Global London Summit calls for content (UK)

Corporate real estate professionals' organization CoreNet Global has issued a final call for proposals for this year's EMEA Summit, which takes place in London (September 17-19, 2012).

This year, the Summit adopts the theme 'RE-Imagine: Re-orient, Re-ignite, Re-invent' to explore how occupier requirements are a primary catalyst for change in today's business environment, and how corporate real estate executives must evolve their skills and go beyond the obvious to lead their organization.

For 2012, CoreNet Global has introduced a new process by which members and the wider corporate real estate community can contribute to the development of the educational program, requesting proposals for new speakers, content and learning formats, with submissions to be tendered by the May 6 deadline.

Proposals for content must be submitted in one of three tracks designed to focus on the key challenges facing Corporate Real Estate:

1. Leading CRE through change – focusing on innovative solutions for leadership in economically challenging and globally complex times, and a shift in the balance of economic activity towards emerging markets.
2. Re-imagine - how companies can innovate and reinvent relationships and strategies as globalization makes geographic boundaries and market barriers less relevant. The track will focus on corporate real estate to be a key asset in the enterprise value chain.
3. Emerging Technologies – the implications of advances in technology for corporate real estate, looking at issues ranging from a multi generational workforce to building automation and carbon footprint reduction.

The aim is to develop a fresh and cutting edge educational program that allows presenters to share their professional experience with their peers.

The annual EMEA Summit returns to London to host an extensive program of keynotes, presentations and workshops plus networking and corporate entertainment program. Full details of the London Summit, including the keynote speakers, and seminar and workshop topics will be announced shortly. Registration for the event has now opened with details available at the London Summit website.
