CoreNet Global launches France Networking Group (FR)

CoreNet Global, the world's leading corporate real estate association, has announced the creation of the France Networking Group.

The Group is specifically designed to meet the professional needs of corporate real estate leaders based in France, offering an opportunity to learn, develop networks and share knowledge whilst benefiting from the international perspective of a global organization. Chaired by Michel Rousseau of Pfizer, the Group is also expected to grow membership in France though a series of learning and networking events.

The first event, 'Technology in the world of corporate real estate', will take place on March 2, 2011 at Cisco's offices in Paris.

The half-day event will focus on the latest technological innovations that are transforming the sector, including how technology can directly assist workplace strategy. Participants will hear industry experts discuss the current status of the French real estate market and future projections, and review the latest research on workplace cultures. Representatives from Pfizer, Cisco, Microsoft, Johnson Controls, Jones Lang LaSalle, Steelcase and many others are expected to attend.

Michel Rousseau comments, "We are delighted to launch the France Networking Group with our first event. With the rapid pace of change in technological advancement, and the direct benefits such technologies offer to the corporate real estate professional, this first event will offer an essential opportunity to stay ahead of the latest developments and also network with other professionals from real estate.

Further events are expected to be held in France through 2011, including a Discovery Forum in May and networking events in early June and the autumn. CoreNet Global has also announced that its tenth annual EMEA Summit will be held in Paris, 18-20 September 2011.

The France Networking Group will form an important part of CoreNet Global's strong presence in the EMEA region, where there are already active Chapters in the Benelux, Central Europe, Middle East and the United Kingdom.
