CoreNet Global Benelux Chapter's End-User Debate to explore future of healthcare, education and business

What does the future hold for investment in university campuses with an increasing focus on internationalization and advances in digital teaching techniques? What lessons might be learned from the success of an entrepreneurial private sector hospital in terms of collaboration, e-health and management? What impact will the pace of technology have on our workplaces, and will a physical presence in the office give way to the futuristic virtual office?

CoreNet Global Benelux Chapter's annual End-User Debate at Provada (June 5, 2012), organized in cooperation with CBRE, will explore all of these questions and more, bringing together experts from healthcare, education and business to forecast the future of corporate real estate in 2030.

The End-User Debate will welcome Josja van der Veer, Director, Facilitaire Campus VU; Aysel Erbudak, Chairman Executive Board, Slotervaart Hospital; and Marcel Bullinga, author, 'Welcome to the Future Cloud', to debate the future of the workplace in a session moderated by Donatello Piras.

Areas that are expected to be covered in the debate include how new, virtual ways of educating students can lead to more efficiency in property use on campus; the benefits of a more business-like approach in the health care sector, including management and e-health; and how, with the advance of the virtual office and major reductions in the requirement for traditional office space, buildings will change to become more flexible.

The interactive session will also include real-time voting from the audience on trigger statements, encouraging them to actively engage in the debate.
