Cordea Savills bolsters German team (DE)

Cordea Savills, the international property fund manager, has expanded its Munich-based investment team with the appointment of Gerhard Lehner.

He is responsible for the portfolio management of the European Commercial Fund, which was launched in October 2007, offering core diversified exposure to commercial and residential property in Western Europe.

Gerhard joined Cordea Savills from KG Allgemeine Leasing GmbH&Co (KGAL), one of the leading financial services groups in Europe for structured financing and leasing concepts. He worked there for almost 12 years, becoming a Senior Director responsible for the launch and structuring of closed-ended funds. Before then he headed various project teams in KGAL's real estate division. Gerhard holds a degree in business economics from University of Passau, Germany.
