Cordea Savills appoints Head of Luxembourg office (LU)

Cordea Savills, the international property investment manager, has appointed Lorna Mackie as Head of the Luxembourg office. Lorna is responsible for fund corporate activities with a special focus on ensuring the highest standards of governance for the company's Luxembourg-domiciled funds and business entities, and Continental European subsidiaries. Lorna reports to Bill Hackney, Chief Operating Officer at Cordea Savills.

Lorna has over 16 years of experience in the Luxembourg fund industry with a strong focus on administration. She joins Cordea Savills from Goodman Europe, where she was responsible for the corporate administration of real estate vehicles worth over €2 billion of assets held across a number of Continental European jurisdictions. Lorna started her career in fund administration in 1996 and spent nine years with Henderson Global Investors' third party administration business (later AMP/Cogent which was then acquired by BNP Paribas Securities Services). Lorna holds a Master of Arts (Hons) in Language and Literature from Glasgow University and a certificate in Luxembourg Company Law.
