During the past three weeks, Colliers International has secured three important anchor tenants for Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall on Tzarigradsko Shousse Boulevard in Sofia.
These are the Spanish retail giant Inditex, that will enter the Bulgarian market with five of its brands - Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull and Bear and Massimo Dutti; the German fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg and Kino Arena - the largest Bulgarian cinema operator, which will provide 12 cinema halls available to the visitors of the mall.
The agreement, signed with Peek & Cloppenburg for Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall is in fact the largest ever fashion lease in Bulgaria- the contract is for a 3,600-m² flagship store of the German brand in the mall. The brand, which has a hundred years' experience in the fashion industry, will offer a wide selection of women, men and children's apparel in different fashion styles; classic, sports-elegant and boutique.
There will be a 1,680-m² Zara shop on the first fashion floor in Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall. The other Inditex brands - Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull and Bear and Massimo Dutti will also be present with their own stores in the mall. The Massimo Dutti shop will be the only one in Bulgaria, while Colliers previously has secured the other Inditex brands for Grand Mall Varna.
Kino Arena has signed a long-term lease agreement for a 12-screen cinema in the mall. This will be the fifth cinema complex that Kino Arena is operating in a shopping mall in Bulgaria.

Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall is the largest shopping mall currently under construction with a gross leasable area of 66,000 m², and is expected to open in the spring of 2010.
Colliers International has close to 600,000 m² of gross leasable area of shopping mall space under exclusive representation in Bulgaria.
