Co-Living brand Quarters debuts in the Netherlands

The MEDICI LIVING Group, the leading co-living provider in Europe and the US, is expanding into the Netherlands, with the latest Quarters scheme in the Statenkwartier district of The Hague. The property comprises 20 residential units and 100m² of common space. The building is fully redeveloped and owned by Urban Interest. The property benefits from easy access by the public and private transport and enjoys close proximity to The Hague Forrest and the beach.

Fred Tromp, Managing Director of Medici Living NL said: “We are proud of Quarters entrance into the Netherlands’ market. Co-Living turns out to be an effective answer to the rising real estate prices in cities. The combination of affordable living, flexibility and community is particularly popular among young professionals. Worldwide Co-Living is on the rise and Medici Living sees opportunities in the Netherlands to open numerous new buildings in the next years, spread over the 5 largest Dutch cities.”

“On our journey to become the WeWork of co-living over the coming years, establishing a foothold in the Netherlands is another key step,” says MEDICI LIVING founder and CEO Gunther Schmidt. “Co-living is becoming more of a topic within the younger Dutch generation. We are meeting their demand for flexible and at the same time affordable housing in the large cities with our QUARTERS concept.”
