Comm. VA Wereldhave Belgium has announced that Mister R.L.M. de Ruijter steps down as a director of N.V. Wereldhave Belgium S.A. This is caused by the decision of the Supervisory Board of NV Wereldhave, major shareholder of Wereldhave Belgium SCA, on the future composition of the Board of Management and the available positions within it. De Ruijter has been a member of NV Wereldhave's Board of Management since 1994, together with Mr. G.C.J. Verweij, Chairman of the Board.
De Ruijter has been director and managing director of NV Wereldhave Belgium SA since 1998.
The Board of Directors has decided not to 'co-opt' a director and to appoint a director at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on April 12, 2006.
A managing director will be appointed as soon as possible by the members of the Board.
