CGI wants to invest € 800 mln. in world fund

The German investor CGI has started a second large open-end fund, the Haus-Invest Global Fund. CGI wants to attract between € 600 and € 800 mln. this year alone to invest in real estate objects in North America, Asia/ Pacific and Europe.

With Haus-Invest Global CGI aims at a division of 50% real estate in North America, 30% in Europe and 20% in Asia/Pacific. To reduce the risks of investments in the office market, offices will make up a maximum of 40% of the portfolio. Retail and leisure objects will make up for 30% of the portfolio. Next to this, CGI also wants to invest in logistic centers. In Europe the focus will be on assets in the new EU member countries which will join this year.
