The new IKEA megastore in Baronissi (Salerno) with a commercial area of 45,000 m² and 70,000 m² of landscaping and parking, at an investment of over 50 million, was built by CDS Holding, which assisted IKEA in the location search, the land purchase and the administrative process. CDS Costruzioni, the group's general contractor, designed and built part of the building and also provided the urban infrastructure, in this case a bridge over the motorway connecting the center of Baronissi with the megastore.

The Baronissi megastore is an important new chapter in the collaboration between CDS and IKEA, which has included construction of the Genoa megastore, the logistics center in Piacenza (Phase 1), the retail outfitting of the Roncadelle (Brescia) store, and the restructuring of the central offices in Carugate (Milan).
