CBRE Hotels EMEA to sell significant four-star hotel in the Thames Valley (UK)

CBRE Hotels EMEA has been appointed as the exclusive agent to sell the Crowne Plaza Marlow, Buckinghamshire. This freehold, four-star hotel offers 168 bedrooms and is situated close to the renowned and sought-after Thames side town of Marlow.

The Crowne Plaza Marlow also boasts two restaurants, a health club and extensive conference facilities, with lawns running down to a large feature lake.

The hotel is available vacant possession or run on a new management contract to BDL Hotels. It is for sale at a guide price of £20 million (approx. €25 million).

Paul Bartrop, Director at CBRE Hotels commented: "The Crowne Plaza Marlow is an exceptional hotel, operated under the highly regarded Crowne Plaza franchise. This modern, purpose built asset is particularly well presented and has stylish, state of the art facilities. Thames Valley hotels such as this seldom come to the market and the sale of this hotel offers an attractive prize to would be investors."

Stanislav Ivashkevich, Associate Director, Hospitality Development, Strategic Consulting & Valuation, CBRE added: "The franchise scheme in hotel business is more popular in Europe, than in Russia. The main reason behind this is the lack of professional management companies in our country. Park Inn Odnitsovo hotel is one of the latest examples of a hotel opened on franchise terms in Russia. It was opened with our help."
