CBRE, DTZ, and King Sturge share Czech warehouse and industrial market data (CZ)

The property advisors CBRE, DTZ and King Sturge have decided to share and analyse basic data of the warehouse and industrial market in the Czech Republic since Q1 2010 in order to provide complex market overview.

Supply in Czech Republic
In Q1 2010 total stock of modern A-class warehouse and industrial properties in the Czech Republic reached approx. 3.36 million sq m. Greater Prague area accounted for approx. 44% of the total warehouse and industrial space in Czech Republic. In Q1 2010, there was approx. 69,000 m² of warehouse space under construction. There was no new supply completed during the same period.

Take-up
In Q1 2010 gross take-up including renegotiations totalled 158,000 sq m. Net take-up excluding renegotiations reached 109,000 sq m.

Vacancy
The vacancy rate reached 16.9 % in Q1 2010, in total there were 567,000 sq m of warehouse space vacant in Czech Republic.
