CBRE Real Estate Finance announces the appointment of Sarah Whitney as Executive Director of Real Estate Finance. Working with Executive Director Philip Cropper and the board of CBRE's Real Estate Finance team in London, Sarah will be responsible for focusing on the team's growing corporate finance capability, providing services to corporates, investors and the public sector. Her appointment consolidates CBRE's position as the leading real estate finance advisory group in the market.

Sarah joins CBRE from a consulting role at English Partnerships, the Government's regeneration agency, where she was a member of the transition team planning for the creation of the new Homes and Communities Agency. She also worked with English Partnerships and the Department of Communities and Local Government in the development of local asset backed vehicles, which use public sector assets to leverage private sector funding into significant regeneration and housing projects, and infrastructure funding.
Prior to accepting the appointment at English Partnerships, Sarah was Managing Director of DTZ's consulting and research practice, DTZ Pieda Consulting, and a member of the DTZ Holdings Group Executive. Sarah joined DTZ from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was a corporate finance partner, having established and led the retail team for 5 years.
