CB Richard Ellis closes first quarter with improved turnover (US)

CB Richard Ellis, the international property advisor, listed on the New York stock exchange, saw a healthy increase in turnover in the first quarter of 2006 to a total of $680 million, a 26% increase over the same period last year.

The company once again benefited from buoyant world-wide property markets. In percentage terms the turnover increase was highest in the Asian region, where the acquisition of Japans IKOMA proved determinant. In the first three months of the year, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the EMEA region) showed superb results; turnover rose by 32% to $135.2 million.
