Castellum acquires five commercial properties in Halmstad, Sweden (SE)

Castellum has acquired five commercial properties in attractive locations in Halmstad for a total amount of approximately €22 million (SEK 215 million).

The lettable area of the properties amounts to approximately 30,000 m² of which 9,300 m² consists of retail premises, 6,700 m² office premises and 14,000 m² warehouse premises. In principle all premises are let. Halmstad will be a new market area for Harry Sjögren AB. Time of taking possession was in the beginning of February.

The Halmstad region is, regarding growth in the number of people employed, one of the fastest growing regions in the 100,000 club i.e. regions with more than 100,000 inhabitants. The local economy has a good mix between production, service, trade and tourism. A well developed infrastructure and good connections by train, flights and boats as well as a local college means that Halmstad has a strategic location in Western Sweden.
