Business Park to be developed in Katowice, Poland (PL)

A technology park is to be developed within the Katowice Special Economic Zone in Poland. By the beginning of 2008, approximately 60,000 m² of office space will have been created.

The city is currently looking for an approximately 40-ha site for the project, which will consist of small-story office buildings. This follows closely the end of the tender for the concept of the park. Discussions are ongoing with three firms who could possibly choose the park as a location for their head offices. One of these is the US company Mentor Graphis, which already employs 140 people in Poland.
