Bruneel to leave Dexia Bank in May or June

Chairman of the Board Dirk Bruneel of Dexia Bank Nederland will leave the company
after it has completed the seperation of Labouchere and Kempen & Co.

This was announced by a
spokesperson for the bank. Bruneel succeeded Joop Krant in December 2002, who left the bank
in an argument over Bank Labouchere´s share-lease-programme, Legio Lease.

Krant was Chairman of the Board at kempen & Co. when it was taken over by Dexia.
