British Land and AustralianSuper submitted planning for Printworks building (GB)

British Land and AustralianSuper submitted a reserved matters planning application to reinstate a permanent cultural venue at the Printworks building within its Canada Water development.

 

Printworks London, managed by Broadwick, was a popular cultural venue that closed down this summer. British Land and AustralianSuper are in talks to operate the new venue, which will be a flexible leisure and cultural destination within the Canada Water Masterplan. 

 

The designs, led by architects HawkinsBrown, seek to maintain the building's volume and character while creating a highly sustainable and modern cultural venue. 

 

There new cultural space is is scheduled to reopen in 2026.
