BrickVest invests in €156.6m Swiss office portfolio

BrickVest announces first close for Swiss AIF

BrickVest has announced the first closing of Harvest investment 5 (HV5), a real estate Alternative Investment Fund focused on Swiss income-producing real estate investment opportunities. HV5 has been developed in partnership with ACRON AG, a leading Swiss-based real estate asset manager with a transaction volume of €1.5bn (CH1.7bn).

Following the closing of its first tranche, HV5 has made its first equity investment in a €156.6m (CH180m) asset portfolio managed by ACRON AG, comprising premium office buildings in the greater Zurich and Bern Areas. The portfolio is well capitalised with 30+% equity capital and has a diversified pool of investment grade rated tenants including Takeda Pharmaceuticals International AG, Baxter and T-Systems.

Emmanuel Lumineau, Founder and CEO, commented: “The first close of HV5 and its addition to the Harvest Investment Fund Series further demonstrate BrickVest’s ability to offer access to institutional-grade investment opportunities to European investors and work hand-in-hand with established sponsors such as ACRON. We are also delighted that HV5 has already made its first investment in premium office assets in Bern and Zurich. We look forward to launching additional thematic Harvest Funds in the UK over the coming months to meet growing demand from European investors for access to high-quality real estate deals in a cost-efficient, secure, transparent and liquid environment. We are proud to welcome ACRON to our dedicated Alpha Sponsor platform.  ACRON is a first-class investment manager and together we will be ideally positioned to develop highly attractive real estate investment strategies for European investors.”

Kai Bender, Managing Director at ACRON, commented: "In BrickVest, we have found a partner that allows us to support our real estate asset management strategy in Switzerland and make them investable to a new target group of investors in Germany and the rest of Europe in the most secure and transparent way."
