Bouygues Development and Coplan Estates finance the €50.4 mln Riverside North development (UK)

Bouygues Development, the property development company, and its joint venture partner Coplan Estates, have achieved financial close on their £36 mln (€50.4 mln) (GDV) mixed-use leisure led town centre regeneration project in central Bedford.
Riverside North is situated on the North bank of the River Great Ouse, directly south of Bedford’scommercial centre and to the west of the historic St Paul’s Square.
Occupying an area of 3.6-acres, the scheme will provide riverfront apartments, shopping and leisure facilities, as well as new landscaped public areas and a new bridge for pedestrians and cyclists.
Bouygues UK will undertake construction of the development, which will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2017.
