Risk magazine has named BNP Paribas 'Equity Derivatives House of The Year' (Risk Awards 2004) in recognition of its worldwide leadership in Equity Derivatives.
In the survey, the world´s largest buyers of structured products
acknowledged that BNP Paribas was delivering what investors wanted in 2003
: straightforward yet innovative equity, index, and fund-linked products
precisely designed for their market view. BNP Paribas was also praised for
its superior service, one of the most important criteria for large
distributors today.
This award reflects not only BNP Paribas´ European leadership in equity
derivatives, but also its rapid development in the rest of the world. Last
year the acquisition of some of Zurich Financial Services´ business lines
significantly strengthened BNP Paribas´ position in the United States, and
the bank also gained strong recognition in equity derivatives in Asia,
with several AsiaRisk awards for 2003.
Risk magazine is a Risk Waters Group publication, dedicated to all aspects
of financial risk management and the global derivatives markets. Its
annual awards have become a standard of excellence in the financial world.
