Bird & Bird first tenants of Platinum Building (BE)

The Belgian branch of the English law firm Bird & Bird will be the first tenant of the "Platinum" building, where they will occupy the top two floors for a complete area of around 3,000 m².

Situated on Avenue Louise (nos. 233-245) this building, recently acquired by the German Property Asset Manager Degi, is undergoing a complete overhaul by the property developer Burco and will offer a total floor space of over 23,000 m², combining "state-of-the-art" technical design with an HQE (High Quality Environmental standard) approach.

Paul Hermant, Partner at Bird & Bird, is delighted with the project: "This move will allow us to optimise our office space, and improve internal communication and the comfort of our colleagues and employees, while noticeably reducing our operating costs."

Thibaut Dumortier, Managing Director of Burco, says: "We are delighted to welcome such a distinguished company as Bird & Bird as our first tenant. This just goes to show that quality real estate projects still attract clients on the Brussels market, even before their final delivery."

By joint agreement and in full partnership between the lessee and owner, Anixton, corporate real estate consultant, has managed this project and transaction in its entirety, being one of the largest rental projects in Brussels since the start of 2009.
