BILLA supermarket chain, Austrian company REWE International AG subsidiary, leased 20,000 m² of warehouse space in Bykovo Class A logistics park in Ramenskoye district of Moscow Region. BILLA and AT - Real Estate developer signed a ten-year contract. Consultant on the transaction is international consulting company Colliers International.

BILLA will occupy a separate building, which will be partially adapted to store alcoholic beverages. In addition, the leased space will house multi-temperature and dry warehouses. BILLA plans to start operations at the new facility in November 2015.

BILLA previously leased 5,000 m² of space in the south eastern Moscow region, but the format and insufficient capacity of the project could not fully meet the company’s logistics needs. Along with its convenient location, the advantage of the warehouse in Bykovo is also the experience of AT - Real Estate in coordinating multi-temperature warehouses under the build-to-suit scheme, which fully takes into account the specifics of the business of perishable goods storing.

The largest operator in this sector is currently operating on the premises of the Bykovo logistics park. In addition, under the contract, the developer has provided BILLA such options as ample parking for trucks and access to a large number of loading – unloading zones with additional docks.

Bykovo logistics park is located 19 km from Moscow on Novoryazanskoye Shosse (the M5 highway) in the vicinity of large towns such as Zhukovsky, Ramenskoye and Lyubertsy, 25 km from the Moscow Small Ring. The total land area is 110 hectares and the total area of the warehouse space is 480,000 m². Bykovo logistics park operates one of the largest multi-temperature terminals in the Moscow region, with total area of 50,000 m². There are more than 80 tenants, including Russian and international brands, in sectors such as logistics services, appliances, electronics, clothing and others.
