Bill Schwab joins JPMorgan's real estate structured finance business (UK)

JPMorgan has announced that Bill Schwab has joined the firm as a managing director and head of the structuring team in its real estate structured finance business.

Jon Rickert, head of real estate structured finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa at JPMorgan, said, "I am pleased to welcome Bill to the firm. He brings unmatched experience in the real estate structured finance industry and will provide a wealth of knowledge to our business in Europe."

Mr. Schwab has had a number of leadership roles in the real estate finance industry. He joins JPMorgan from Deutsche Bank where he was a founding member of the real estate finance team and head of the European real estate capital structure and underwriting since 2002. Prior to that, Mr. Schwab served for over five years as real estate chief lending officer at Goldman Sachs where, among other assignments, he successfully established the real estate capital structure and underwriting team for large loans. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Schwab was a vice president in the REIT and CMBS team at Kidder Peabody that he joined in 1994, following a long-standing career in real estate construction and development.

Mr. Schwab will be based in London and report to Mr. Rickert.
