CoreNet Global has named Bill Benjamin, an expert in the cutting edge science of Emotional Intelligence, as the first confirmed keynote speaker at this year's EMEA Summit, which takes place in London on 17-19 September.
Emotional Intelligence, or EI, describes an ability or capacity to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, and of others. Benjamin will explore how an understanding of a team's emotions can be critical to business success, with research tracking more than 160 high performing professionals showing that emotional intelligence is two times more important than intellect or experience in contributing excellence.
Bill Benjamin is the CEO of IHHP, the Institute for Health and Human Potential, and is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of experience.
This year, CoreNet Global's EMEA Summit adopts the theme 'RE-Imagine: Re-orient, Re-ignite, Re-invent', and will explore how occupier requirements are a primary catalyst for change in today's business environment, and how corporate real estate executives must evolve their skills and go beyond the obvious to lead their organization.
